I’ve been working 12-18 hour days for months telling a story and it’s been the most fun I’ve ever had.
We’ve shot 124 pages with 23 actors and 1 dog. I’m one guy sitting at a computer.
I do all the postproduction and all the promotion for the show. We have no promotion budget, no publicist and not a lot of people are watching.
I didn’t make this show to sell a pilot. I made this show to tell a story.
After years of rejection as a writer and the realization that the piles of features I’ve written were going to be nothing more than contest winners, I got pissed off. I didn’t write scripts to be read, I wrote them to be made.
I didn’t ask for permission to make this story, I just made it.
Now I realize, what’s the point of making something if no one sees it, and I got pissed off.
I need help promoting a story that can be seen free and commercial-free? Yes!
If you can recommend this show to a friend, enemy, writer, reviewer or have any ideas - I would greatly appreciate it and I’m all ears. Ears that are connected to one guy doing all the work with no money, just a reminder.
